Mr. Komissarov is a general corporate and intellectual property lawyer whose personal practice focuses primarily on counseling major software, industrial, retail, telecommunication, mass media, and technology companies. He has broad-based experience in structuring, negotiating and documenting a wide range of complex domestic and cross-boarder transactions, such as purchases and sales of companies, asset sales of industrial companies in Russia, joint ventures, strategic alliances, software license arrangements, commercial contracts, securitization and various finance transactions. He has advised a wide range of international clients on the formation and operation of subsidiaries in Russia. Mr. Komissarov has developed extensive experience handling complex restructurings.
Mr. Komissarov provides day-to-day counseling and business-oriented advice to the world’s largest software manufacturer in connection with its business in Russia. As part of this engagement, he regularly handles complex intellectual property matters, as well as the full range of general corporate issues.

Intensively involved in documentary due diligence and preparation of several legal opinions for a major U.S. investment institution and a major Swedish multinational telecommunication company regarding granting of big loans to major Russian telecommunication companies.
Representation of a major foreign investor and intensive involvement in legal support for acquisition of assets of a bankrupt Russian pulp and paper company.
