Mr. Sutiagin is a general corporate lawyer and experienced litigator. He centers on the representation of major industrial companies and financial institutions with a concentration on the steel production sector. Mr. Sutiagin has handled complex acquisitions and divestitures, joint ventures, reorganizations and a broad range of financing transactions. He has represented issuers and underwriters in a wide range of corporate finance transactions, including private placements and debt offerings. He has particular expertise in documenting and structuring shareholder, loan, pledge, joint venture, partnership, distribution, sale and lease agreements and a wide range of equity arrangements. Mr. Sutiagin has developed extensive experience conducting due diligence of target companies, drafting due diligence reports and opinion letters to equity sponsors and underwriters. He is well-versed in providing Russian law legal opinions to underwriters in eurobond and ADR offerings.

Mr. Sutiagin has over 8 years of experience in commercial litigation with particular emphasis on corporate control, securities, real estate and bankruptcy disputes. He appears before state commercial (arbitrazh) courts of all instances throughout Russia.
